About me

Maybe you're struggling with a low self worth, worry or panic and feeling overwhelmed by negative thoughts, anxiety or depression. Experiencing these struggles is often due to unresolved issues, repressed emotions and unconscious beliefs you are unaware of.

The way I work will help you safely explore your inner world and empower you to develop the tools, insight and self awareness to learn how to help yourself moving forward, and in the process make sense of how you feel.

If you are interested in working with me, I generally recommend an initial session to find the best way forward for you - I offer both weekly counselling sessions or a 6-week programme.

Please phone or email to book an initial session, or you can find out more about me, and how I can help you, by visiting my website.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Client testimonials

"I have been lucky enough to be on a 6 week counselling journey with Georgina Lynch. I contacted her when I had reached my lowest point and felt unable to carry on! Not a great believer in seeking help, always believing I would get over it in time. I was reluctant to sign up to a 6 week programme, but also realising that I needed help sooner rather than later!!! I really cannot express enough how this has changed my life. I can now think clearly and can see a much happier future in front of me, I now know how important it is to look after me. I can’t thank Georgina enough for turning my life around and giving me back my zest for life. The health benefits out way the cost, it was worth every penny." TC

"My experience with Georgina has been life changing. It felt like a huge risk because if she couldn’t help me I don’t know where else I would have gone or what else I would have tried. It’s been simple things I’ve done that have made the difference and not overwhelming at all. These simple things have been exceptionally targeted and specific to me and have been built into my programming so I have new, way more healthy habits in how I feel, think and behave. The difference in such a short time is remarkable. It’s like my brain has been rebooted and reprogrammed! I look forward with joy and excitement now instead of sadness and emptiness". VR

"Georgina totally changed my life. I was unable to break free of the medication/depression cycle, but I am now off the meds and, although I know it will be a journey, I now have the tools to achieve a degree of content I never thought possible. Thank you so much Georgina!" BP

'Georgina was patient, honest, kind, with some extremely worthwhile, life-changing techniques which I will continue to use as I move forward in my life. I fully recommend Georgina for anyone who is stagnant, unable to break free from past experiences and who want to live a happy and fulfilling life going forwards' TP

"Georgina has helped me to feel more confident and capable of loving myself. I feel that I have more control over how I feel and greater level of acceptance when it comes to my emotional reactions. I am kinder and more gentle with myself. I can recognise and I feel able to adapt my self sabotaging behaviour much more easily. Georgina was supportive, flexible and reassuring. I now have tools and feel happier in my own skin and I have more control over living the life I want to create" EP

'I found Georgina to be not only professional, but I was truly touched and grateful for her understanding and compassion' KB
