About me
My approach:
I work in a warm and supportive style, responding to you as an individual. I have experience dealing with life crises in relationships or professionally, with addictions, bereavement, depression, anxiety, low self esteem and ADHD. Having spent time in the creative industries I have a good understanding of the challenges within that sector. I also have experience with people in finance, business and law.
Mind and body:
I use the polyvagal theory for understanding the core physiological nervous states as a foundation to trauma-related conditions. I study neuro-biology and the impact it has on our behaviour. I invite clients to be curious about their own nervous states and reactions in order to guide them back to a state of calm.
Past and present:
Both are important. When it feels right for you, we can talk about the past and learn how it has caused patterns in your current life which you might want to break. We can also look at the present in order to find a deeper meaning and purpose in your everyday life.
If my clients are interested in the hybrid therapy I offer, I can in addition use transpersonal techniques to help liberate your true nature.
Training, qualifications & experience
Between 2015-2019 I trained at The College for Counselling and Psychotherapy (CCPE) in Little Venice, London. This involved 900 contact hours, including one six-day intensive, one residential weekend, 24 weekend seminars and 120 evening meetings spread over four years. The evening meetings include a period for lectures and group supervision. In addition, students undertake a minimum of 160 hours of individual therapy, at least 550 hours of supervised psychotherapy practice and 100 hours at an approved clinical placement, from which they submit case histories for assessment.
I held a placement at The Grove Practise in the West End and continued to see private clients after I qualified. I now have my own practise in Notting Hill Gate and Bayswater three days a week. I am able to see clients online also.
In addition to my psychological studies in the last five years, I have attended many extra workshops and events relating to the latest research in neuro-biology and complex trauma. The evidence based scientific research is very helpful when working with clients who are curious about their nervous bodies automatic responses to others and the environment, and how this effects behaviour.
Member organisations
Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Neuroscience in action
I run a program called Resilience, which is based on the Polyvagal Theory. The objective is to become conscious of your automated nervous system in action. With this new awareness comes the opportunity for new considered reactions, responses and behaviours that suit your present life in a more productive way.
In addition we can explore transpersonal resources to support self and co-regulation.
This program can be run online using video call for one to one or small groups. Please contact me and we can discuss the details together.
