41 - 43 Portland Road
Supportive, confidential, positive, goal focused and explorative counselling.
I am a fully qualified, experienced BACP Accredited therapist. I trained at Sussex University. I am also a qualified supervisor. I have worked as a counsellor in the NHS (Health in Mind, Time to Talk), charities, Employee Assistance Programmes and private practice over the past 17 years. I have worked in mental health for over 30 years.
I work in an integrative way which means I tailor the therapy to suit your needs and goals. I work with clients short term (usually 6 sessions) and long term. I see couples and individuals. I have specialist training and experience in working with people with alcohol misuse issues (www.giveupdrinking.co.uk)
Sometimes recent events in one’s life can seem overwhelming, or long term issues can drive us into a position where we feel stuck. Counselling can help you feel differently about your life, and support positive change.
