About me

I am a chartered psychologist, an associate fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS), and a fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA). I am also an accredited cognitive behavioural psychotherapist with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).

I aim to provide a space where clients feel safe, respected, and valued so that difficulties can be explored, without judgement, either through 6-20 sessions of cognitive behavioural therapy or if needed through more longer-term work.

If you have any questions or wish to arrange an initial consultation please send an email to drgeorge_georgiou@hotmail.com.

Training, qualifications & experience

I currently teach cognitive behavioural therapy, underpinned by humanistic values, on both the MA Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy and PsychD Counselling Psychology programmes.

I have been working at a North London NHS Trust as a cognitive behavioural therapist since 2013 and previously at North Lambeth Talking Therapy Service and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Service, Maudsley Hospital.
