About me
Hi! I'm a registered Clinical Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), available online via Zoom or MS Teams and also over the phone. I'm passionate about helping others through therapy and will take time to listen and understand your situation to help you create the change you want.
I have worked with clients across the lifespan, treating psychological difficulties including: anxiety, panic, depression, bipolar, psychotic depression, schizophrenia, delusional disorder, hoarding, OCD, disordered eating, emotional dysregulation, personality disorders, specific phobias and trauma.
I normally undertake an initial assessment of relevant information and then develop a ‘formulation’ with you at a pace that feels comfortable. This helps us to highlight patterns in thoughts, feelings, behaviours and relationships, within the context of past and current experiences, from which we can agree on what to focus on and where to trial change.
I am experienced in multiple therapy approaches including CBT, ACT, Systemic Therapy and DBT Skills. I also regularly work with neurodiverse clients and I am skilled at helping you feel at ease when reaching out for help can feel like such a daunting step... So if I sound like the right therapist for you, please get in touch to see how we could work together!
Training, qualifications & experience
I have worked in various roles across primary and secondary care community mental health services with children and adults, as well as psychiatric inpatient units (forensics, adult acute, older adult acute and eating disorders), physical health clinics (paediatrics, diabetes and chronic pain) and specialist learning disability and fostering services.
I can enable meaningful change when multiple diagnoses may be affecting someone’s daily life. I enjoy the opportunity to provide assessment, formulation and treatment to a diverse range of clients, both individually and with couples/families, or in small groups.
I completed my Clinical Psychology doctorate at the University of East Anglia (UEA) Medical School in 2022 and have experience in the assessment, formulation and treatment of complex psychological difficulties, in line with guidance from the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE).
The approach I try to take is warm, non-judgmental and always tailored to the client(s). Over the course of regular 50 minute sessions, I will initially undertake an assessment of relevant information and typically then develop a ‘formulation’ with you at a pace you feel comfortable with (this can take many forms depending on the presenting problem(s), whether it is individual, couple or family work and which therapeutic model is being used).
Normally, the formulation highlights patterns in thoughts, feelings, behaviours and relationships, within the context of past and current experiences, and from this, we can agree on what to focus on. This allows a parameter from which to measure how therapy is going and regular sessions can focus on noticing cognitive, behavioural and relational patterns, developing the formulation over time in relation to the agreed purpose of the therapy.
Treatment plans may include practising and/or documenting alternative thoughts or behaviours, to promote change outside of the sessions.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
