About me

Support through life’s challenges
As a person-centred counsellor, I understand that life can be challenging and unpredictable. Whether you’re facing stress, anxiety, relationship difficulties, or life transitions, support is here.

A safe and supportive space
I am here to provide a safe, empathetic, and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment.

My journey to counselling
I have been on my own journey, facing and overcoming life’s challenges. It was through these experiences that I discovered the power of support and self-discovery, which inspired me to train as a counsellor and help others on their paths.

Empathy and understanding
My practice is rooted in empathy, understanding, and a deep belief in your ability to navigate your unique journey. Together, we can explore your feelings, uncover your strengths, and work toward meaningful growth and healing.

Online sessions for your convenience
Through secure online sessions, I provide a safe and compassionate space where you can feel truly heard and supported. Let’s work together to face life’s challenges and find a way forward.

Here to support you, every step of the way
Whether you’re seeking clarity, coping strategies, or someone to truly listen, I am here to support you every step of the way.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • CPCAB L4 diploma in Therapeutic counselling.
  • Blue Star pre-trial counselling training.
  • Trauma informed approaches.

I am a dedicated and compassionate counsellor with a rich background in support work and mental health. My journey in the helping professions began with hands-on experience as a support worker, where I cultivated a deep understanding of the diverse challenges people face. Over the years, I have worked extensively within the mental health sector, offering empathetic and person-centred support to individuals navigating complex issues such as eating disorders, trauma, and the stigma surrounding mental health conditions.

I am also deeply committed to supporting people living with HIV. Through my work, I have developed a nuanced understanding of the physical, emotional, and social impacts of living with this condition, and I strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals can explore their feelings and challenges at their own pace.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
