About me

Hello and welcome to my profile, my name is Gemma and I am a Person-centred and experiential therapist based near Melton Mowbray.

Whatever your reason for accessing Counselling and Psychotherapy, taking the first step can be overwhelming. I believe the key is to find the right therapist for you, someone who you feel comfortable with and trust enough to bring your whole self to. I welcome you as you are without expectation or judgement.

I offer a trauma-informed Person Centred and Experiential practice in person or online in a welcoming, confidential and quiet location.

I also offer animal assisted sessions (with horses) if that better suits your needs.

If you find yourself feeling distanced from yourself or others in your life, maybe due to a current life situation or past experiences of trauma or abuse. We can work together to understand what is going on and help you to find ways to rekindle or build those connections in a way that feels okay with you.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • MSc in Person-centred and Experiential Psychotherapy
  • Trained as an animal assisted learning practitioner.
