About me

Do you feel anxious, depressed, are you finding life or relationships difficult. I offer the opportunity to explore the underlying causes of these difficulties. Together we will find the potential within you to alleviate the painful impact upon your quality of life that I know can be overwhelming.

  I  will provide a safe confidential space to work together. My approach is based on responding to a persons individual unique needs. I will not judge you. My approach is focused on acceptance and respect.

  I have been trained to listen deeply and identify feelings and life patterns .You are not alone in this counselling journey working together we will explore the best way forward for you.

I offer one hour sessions for adults at my private practice in Leicester .Our first session is about identifying whether we can beneficially work together for the best possible results.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

My fees are £45.00for the initial first session

Then £45.00 per hour thereafter.

I also have limited availability for those on low incomes, students, and benefit claimants.

I have had the privilege to support many people through some very difficult and painful times in their lives. These have taken place in a variety of settings which working for charities, my private practice, and non profit organizations. This has given me vast experience to help empower clients over the years.

I regularly participate in further training and attend seminars which enables me to keep updated in providing the best practice and in-depth knowledge to help my clients live their life fully.
