I am a fully qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with over 10 years experience working in mental health services. I provide a warm and safe environment, where clients feel able to open up about their difficulties without feeling judged.
I support individuals experiencing symptoms of depression and anxiety disorders including, Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Social Anxiety, Health Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Agoraphobia, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Low Self Esteem.
I have completed further training in Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT). This type of therapy provides a different approach to the treatment of depression and anxiety disorders and is also very effective in the treatment of Sleep Disorders and helping people adjust to and manage Long Term Health Conditions.
I also provide supervision to Cognitive Behavioural Therapists. CBT clinical supervision allows therapists to discuss clinical cases in a safe and supportive environment. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy supervision is a collaborative process in which the therapist and supervisor work together to consider clinical cases that the Therapist is working with in order to ensure that the therapist's clients receive the very best and safest care possible. Clinical supervision is an essential aspect of CBT practice.
