About me
Welcome to Your Healing Journey
Hello and a warm welcome to you. My name is Gabriele, though I prefer Gabi. What is your name? I’m truly glad you’re here, and I wonder what has brought you to consider counselling at this point in your life.
Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or family issues? Perhaps you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or burdened by painful emotions. Whether it's dealing with a recent life change, navigating a relationship breakdown, or managing the stress of everyday life, I understand that these challenges can make it hard to see things clearly.
I imagine you might be feeling stressed, frustrated, hurt, or even lonely. Maybe you’re finding it difficult to talk to anyone about what’s going on, and that’s okay. The reasons why people seek counselling are varied, but all of them are valid. Your feelings and experiences are important, and they deserve to be heard and understood.
How I Can Help You
I offer a compassionate, non-judgemental, and confidential space where we can explore what’s happening in your life. As a trauma-informed practitioner, I provide both in-person therapy and online sessions, working with adolescents through to adults in a culturally responsive setting. My approach is flexible, drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities to tailor our sessions to your unique needs.
When emotions run high and your thoughts feel overwhelming, it can be hard to manage the negative self-talk that often follows. Together, we’ll build a toolbox of effective skills tailored specifically for you, helping you foster resilience, confidence, and a clearer perspective on life.
Taking the Next Step
Reaching out for help is a courageous step. If you’re ready to explore the challenges you’re facing and want to find new ways of thinking and coping, I am here to support you.
I offer a short, free consultation—whether on the phone, online, or via text messaging—before an initial appointment. This allows us to discuss your hopes and expectations, answer any questions, and determine if I might be the right therapist for you.

During this time, I volunteered as a student counsellor at Longfield in Minchinhampton and Listening Post in Stroud. Taking a course in bereavement and grief counselling alongside.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
