I feel it is important that we are able to build a good relationship, so that gradually you feel able to discuss whatever troubles you and feel safe in the knowledge that you will be heard with respect and without judgement. In our initial session you will be able to talk about your concerns.
At Frehom, we have qualified Integrative counsellors and a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and ACC, (Association of Christian Counsellors) working within the area of Croydon and Bromley/Beckenham. We offer counselling to young people, adults and older adults.
You can probably identify with individuals who are experiencing emotional difficulties, but are telling themselves that they will ask for help one of these days. But as the time draws closer, your heartbeat increases and you have butterflies feeling in your stomach. You know how difficult it can be to actually pick up that phone and make the appointment to seek help. Having the courage and the boldness to take the first step is the beginning of your freedom and you alone has the power to begin to set yourself free.
Are you feeling anxious and hopeless and life seems to have no meaning or purpose? Perhaps you are stuck and feeling frustrated. How long have you been expressing your feelings to someone on a deeper level?
Well, at Frehom Foundation we can help you find your way out of these difficulties by giving you the support you need. We seek to be patient, non-judgemental, warm and trustworthy.

Commitment to Counselling and Psychotherapy is a process; it’s probably taking time to get to where you are now and it’ll take some time to get you to where you want to be, somewhere you feel better about yourself and more content with your emotional wellbeing. We understand this and we make a firm commitment to you by providing regular ongoing sessions. We’ll ensure your Counsellor is available at the same time and the same place every week and we make an ongoing commitment to your sessions for as long as you need. Obviously your Counsellor will have the occasional holiday but we’ll give plenty of notice of this. Counselling requires you to commit to your own progress and development too. We ask that you continue to see your Counsellor at the same place and the same time every week; with this regularity you can be sure you’re getting the therapeutic support you need. By making this time for yourself, and making sure you reserve this time for your sessions, you can start to feel better about the positive steps you’re taking. Obviously you can choose to end your sessions whenever you want.
