About me

I am a BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, EMDR & Schema Therapist. I am also a registered Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I also practice Clinical Hypnotherapy and Mindfulness. I support my clients Face to Face, remote video call and by agreement, Telephone, or e-mail. I am available for home visits. I have enhanced disclosure. I have experience in supporting adults, older adults, children and neurodiverse groups and couples.

I am qualified and have many years’ experiences working with Trauma and PTSD. I support clients who have single event trauma / PTSD. For example, road traffic accidents for insurance claims. I work with clients who may have multiple event trauma /. PTSD due to sexual, emotional physical and domestic abuse.

 I also work with Anger, Depression, Generalised Anxiety, Perfectionism, Bereavement & Grief, Assertiveness, Confidence, Self Esteem Panic and Anxiety, Phobia's, Worry and Stress, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. I also  Work with Relationship Issues, Couples Counselling, Affairs and Betrayals. 

I can also support Businesses with Employee back to work programs, Stress Management courses and Work Life Balance courses. This also includes Life Coaching and Personal Development.

I am trained in Clinical Hypnotherapy and use this to Treat: Phobia, Aversion, Nail Biting, Performance Management, Confidence, Assertiveness, and Desensitisation, Smoking cessation and weight loss. I have experience in Relaxation Techniques and Guided Visualisation and can support clients to develop Mindful Awareness, Auto Suggestion or Affirmations for Positive Personal Development and Goal Achievement.

I am a former member of the Armed Forces and have experience in working with Veterans with emotional and mental health issues relating to service ie Anxiety, Depression, Adjustment, Trauma and PTSD. Call me to explore the best treatment for your situation.
