About me
If you are struggling with unresolved emotions, anxiety, depression, or patterns in your life that seems beyond your control, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy is a powerful tool for investigating the impact of our past and present experiences on our feelings, behaviours, and intentions in life.
Psychodynamic Psychotherapy is a relational journey of self-exploration. As a compassionate and experienced psychotherapist, I offer a safe and non-judgmental space where to understand deep-rooted issues and foster lasting change.
Through our work together, we can uncover the underlying causes of your challenges, helping you gain insight, develop healthier relationships, and achieve personal growth.
In therapy we will be exploring:
· How your past experiences impact you in your present and your relationship patterns.
· How you are affected by your family and friends, as well as social groups and systems.
· How these things may play out unconsciously in your daily life, in ways that you may not be aware of.
In the past decade I have worked in the social care and mental health sector, particularly with autism and learning disabilities, as well as doing counselling charitable work with elderly people. Besides working as psychotherapist in private practice, I offer counselling to students at a university and personalised mentoring.
I specialise in areas relating to anxiety, panic attacks, addiction and compulsive behaviours, depression, disability, neurodiversity, trauma, childhood trauma, abuse, PTSD, relationship issues, sexual problems, bereavement and loss, loneliness, feeling stuck, attachment issues, self-esteem, anger, work and financial related issues, physical illnesses and age-related issues.
I work extensively with neurodiversity and artists, exploring expression in its complexity, as well as existential exploration.
Often we feel intimidated by the idea of pursuing therapeutic work however, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy can also offer a fruitful and safe space for thinking and reflection, while dealing and addressing everyday challenges and stress.
I offer 50-minute sessions of short (12 or 20 sessions) and open-ended work, in person, online, or telephone if required.
My fee for clinical services is £85. I am open to discuss a reduced rate based on your financial circumstances.
I welcome you to get in touch to arrange a 15-minute consultation free of charge, so we can determine whether we are a good fit.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
