About me

Hey there! I'm Frankee (she/her), a passionate Humanistic Counsellor.

I am dedicated to supporting you on your journey of self discovery. Think of me as your compassionate sidekick, ready to offer a safe, non judgmental space where you can explore and embrace your true self. My background includes working with incredible individuals navigating challenges like anxiety, agoraphobia, domestic violence, and relationship struggles.

I understand how overwhelming life can get, and I’m here to guide you through it all. We'll work together to overcome the bumps in the road and uncover your inner strength. Life's a wild ride, but you don’t have to face it alone. Let's take this journey together and discover the awesome person you truly are!

Some Of The Things I Work With:

  • Building self-esteem and self-acceptance: Supporting you in embracing your true self and boosting confidence.
  • Managing emotional distress and anxiety: Helping you navigate feelings of overwhelm and stress.
  • Building healthier relationships: Guiding you in fostering strong, meaningful connections with others.
  • Dealing with the impact of domestic violence: Supporting you through the healing process from trauma and abuse.
  • Embarking on a self discovery journey: Helping you explore and understand your true self with clarity and purpose.
  • Overcoming agoraphobia: Empowering you to regain control and confidence in facing fears of open or crowded spaces.

The key thing to know is that our connection is super important. I’m here to create a safe and non-judgemental space where you can feel completely at ease and truly be yourself.

In our time together, we’ll dive into Humanistic Counselling, which is all about seeing you as a whole person and supporting your journey of self-discovery. This approach is all about understanding your unique experiences and helping you grow in a way that feels right for you.

I predominantly work remotely and can accommodate phone or video sessions. I can also offer face to face sessions at our Newton-Le-Willows office.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
