About me

There are times when talking to friends and family is not enough. We may be dealing with an unresolved issue from the past, a present problem we are struggling with, or maybe we do not know exactly how we feel, but we know that something is just not right. I can provide you with a safe space where you can talk freely and in confidence, without worrying about saying the wrong thing, upsetting anyone or being judged

I am a fully qualified and accredited Integrative counsellor and psychotherapist. I am also a registered children and young people's therapist (CYPT). I have over 17 years’ experience in private practice and I have worked in a youth counselling service. I work with young people aged 14+ and adults of all ages. I am DBS checked. I see clients face to face in Stalham. I also offer online and telephone sessions.

My Integrative approach allows me to use well known counselling and psychotherapy models that suits you and your needs best. My aim is to work in partnership with you where respect, empathy, trust, honesty and confidentiality are an integral part of the way in which we work together. You are the driver of this process and, therefore, will determine the pace of therapy. My role is to listen without judgement and to provide the right level of support and encouragement to help guide you towards a journey of discovery and enhancement of your feelings, thoughts and behaviour. I adapt my approach to best suit your needs. I will ensure that you are helped, encouraged, supported and guided to explore your issue/s.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • Level 5 Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy
  • Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Level 3 Diet and Nutrition Advisor Certificate
  • Postnatal Depression Awareness Diploma

As part of my continuing professional development I regularly attend training, workshops and seminars.
