Foteini Palyvou, Integrative Psychotherapist MSc, BSc, Clin. Dip., UKCP Reg.
Hello and thank you for visiting my counselling page.
I believe that it takes a lot of courage to begin to think about seeking help and support when life is problematic or difficult. You may be troubled by something from childhood or there may be a problem at work that is making you unhappy, or indeed you may be experiencing struggles in your personal relationships which are a cause for unhappiness or even distress.
What I can offer you is a confidential, safe and supportive space to talk about the things that trouble you, so that together we can find a way forward to help you take greater control of your life in more satisfying and happier ways.
As a relational, integrative psychotherapist I believe that, in addition to having our own unique spirit upon entering the world, our early relationships continue to shape our sense of self in both helpful and limiting ways. Relational Psychotherapy helps clients to identify those experiences that hold them back, see their part in ongoing struggles and consequently become the answer to their future happiness and fulfilment.
Being an integrative practitioner allows me to draw upon multiple perspectives to make sense of the issues that may be troubling you, and support you to become empowered to experiment with new ways of being and relating that bring a sense of purpose and meaning.
