About us

Is something holding you back from being where you want to be in life? Do you struggle with anxiety, depression, relationships or have you experienced a bereavement or other distressing life event? If so, we can help.

At Focus Wellbeing, we have over 20 years’ experience of helping people overcome a wide range of issues and return to fulfilling, rewarding lives. We pride ourselves on offering the highest quality service, right from the moment you first contact us. We know how difficult and daunting it can be to decide to confide in somebody about your problems. Our expert team will be there to support you every step of the way.

We offer a wide range of therapies to suit your needs, all provided by our team of qualified therapists. If you’re unsure about what type of therapy will best suit you, don’t worry – we will go through everything with you in your initial referral and ensure you have the right therapist to help you.

How To Access Therapy

Accessing support from us is simple and straightforward. You can either complete our online referral form through our website or call our enquiries line. One of our experienced staff will be ready to help with your enquiry.

During your initial enquiry, we will spend time with you over the phone in order to fully understand what has led you to seek help, what you are looking for from therapy, and using our 'Best Match' principle, we will match you with the therapist most suited to your requirements.

Member organisations *

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
