About me
I work with adults who are experiencing common emotional difficulties such as stress, anxiety, low mood, and adjusting to life changes. I also specialise in working with people with long-term physical health conditions, such as persistent pain, fatigue, respiratory, gastroenterological and neurological conditions. Being diagnosed with a long-term health condition can often lead to significant life changes. I am experienced in supporting people to process the feelings of loss, low mood, or anxiety that can accompany these changes, and to better manage their physical and psychological wellbeing.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council. I have training and experience in a range of evidence-based psychological therapies. My main therapeutic models are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). As a psychologist, I am skilled at integrating different approaches to best meet your individual needs and goals.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
