About me

Hello, my name is Fleur, and I am a fully qualified integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist.

If you are searching for help the chances are that you are feeling confused, lost, overwhelmed, sad, angry or many other emotions. In a society where there are so many pressures on people it can feel like there is no one who understands you or supportively listens to you.

It is a big step to decide to have therapy and I hope to be able to answer questions and concerns that you may have.

The counselling and psychotherapy I provide offers a safe confidential space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings without judgement.

My approach to working with you will be to treat you as an individual and work towards your goals at a pace that is right for you.

I will support and guide you as you get to know yourself on a deeper level and gradually feel empowered to make the positive changes in your life.

Counselling & Psychotherapy is a client led process of talking therapy that allows you to freely explore your thoughts and feelings with the support of a qualified therapist. Just as your body needs looking after to stay healthy, so does your mind. Counselling has a positive impact on your quality of life and helps you change your behaviour, increase happiness, and overcome problems.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
