About me
Hi, I’m Fiona - a qualified and experienced Art Psychotherapist. I offer online appointments that can include both talking therapy and art-based approaches, depending on your preferences and needs. I support clients with a wide range of challenges including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and grief or bereavement.
While I specialise in working with children and adolescents, I also welcome adults into my practice.
If you're considering therapy or simply want to find out more, feel free to get in touch for an informal chat - I'm happy to explore how I might be able to support you.
Training, qualifications & experience
BSc single honours in Psychology with associated childhood development
Ma + PgD in Art Psychotherapy
I am a qualified art psychotherapist with over a decade of experience, having completed my training in 2011. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with children and adults, offering a compassionate and creative approach to emotional and psychological support. I have worked closely with many adopted children and their adoptive parents, as well as children with care experience. I currently run a counselling service in a boarding school, where I support students, parents, and staff, tailoring interventions to meet a wide range of emotional and developmental needs. Over the years, I have developed a flexible and integrative style, combining traditional talking therapies and DBT with art-based approaches to foster expression, insight, and healing. My work is grounded in a deep commitment to relationship-based practice, empathy and emotional safety.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
