About me

Hello, I am a fully qualified Counsellor and a member of the BACP. I have trained for four years and have gained my diploma in Therapeutic counselling level four. I have two years experience working with addiction and trauma clients and I also work for another organisation dealing with many issues bringing counselling at a low cost rate. This is something that resonates greatly with myself as there were times I needed to access affordable therapy and unfortunately it wasn't always available. I am passionate about promoting mental health wellness and I feel I can aid others gain a better understanding of themselves. I believe I can offer compassion and have lots of life experiences including a personal insight into ASD spectrum challenges and the stresses of single parenting. I have a room based in St Andrews that can offer a safe space to explore your needs on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. My approach is person centred and I believe we all have the ability to self heal given the right understanding, empathy, acceptance and encouragement. We all have our unique story and deserve to be heard. I am working towards accreditation and I have over 700 clinical hours experience.
