About me

Fiona is an experienced counsellor (Accredited UKCP) / psychotherapist / EMDR therapist.

I'm passionate about empowering you to overcome your challenges to achieve the life you want.

I offer counselling that is accessible to all groups and communities, including those with neurodevelopmental differences such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

As a child and adult therapist, I work integratively using various models of therapy to tailor the therapy to the client. I have found that this works best for my child and adult clients.

I offer counselling for parents to help them to explore issues that they may be having with their children or adolescents. Exploring issues that arise can help find solutions and strategies to begin to maintain a balance within family life. These can be a one-off session or booked as part of a set.

I have extensive experience working with adults, children and young people with autism.

I am trained in DDP (Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy and Parenting) and have a wealth of experience working with families.

EMDR is an evidence-based treatment which is a very successful treatment for trauma and complex trauma. EMDR helps with many issues, including anxiety, phobias, pain, attachment and many other issues. It enables you to reframe beliefs held about situations and reduces the level of disturbance. EMDR is an alternative therapy for people who struggle to talk about how they feel.

I provide both short term and long term therapy within a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space.
