About me
There are times in all of our lives when things just don't seem right, our lives seem to be spiraling out of our control. Days seem a bit darker, relationships seem a bit harder or we are just feeling sad.
Being unwell is not a choice and neither is the resultat isolation, shame and guilt. Asking for some help is an act of bravery.
I offer a safe place to explore these feelings or other important matters in your life, in confidence and without the fear of being judged. As an Integrative Psychotherapist I provide a place that allows you to fully explore your issues with a respectful other person. We will work together to find ways to overcome obstacles and improve your life
I am able to offer day and evening sessions at my central Leicester offices
I have worked in a general counselling practice since 2009, with clients from their teens to retirement age and with both men and women. I have a wealth of experience in working with clients who have relationship issues, bereavement issues, and those who are affected by anxiety, panic attacks, fear, anger, rage, depression, low self-esteem, low self-confidence, or moments of disassociation. I also work with clients who have experienced sexual and/or physical abuse, domestic abuse and clients suffering from post traumatic stress disorder. I have also recently worked with people affected by hoarding.
I work with individuals, couples and families.
Training, qualifications & experience
I qualified from the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute in Nottingham, after a three year course, with a BSc (Hons) degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy and hold a Post Graduate Diploma In Integrative Psychotherapy.
