About me

Counselling offers the space and time to work through personal issues and difficulties. The well being of the client and the client's agenda is central to the counselling experience.
Fiona Ferry has been practicing since 2006 and her work has included working with adults, young people and children. These settings have included creches, schools, a university student counselling service and various adult agencies. Fiona's training was in the dialogue between the person-centred approach and psychodynamic perspectives and she continues to practice in this way today.
Fiona works from her private residence in a designated room/office space and also works online from this space; offering face to face and online meetings.

Fiona is a practitioner member of COSCA, the professional body for Counselling and Psychotherapy in Scotland. Also a COSCA accredited trainer (2016) and a Teaching Fellow at The University of Edinburgh, where her work involves, training counselling students.

Confidentiality and privacy are offered. Guidelines for good practice and ethical practice are followed as laid out by BACP and COSCA.
