Fiona Darbyshire Dip MBACP
The journey of life can be challenging at times. From personal experience, I know that counselling can offer you a way forward. I can provide a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space, where the opportunity to talk can help make sense of your problems. Exploring issues together, enables confidence to grow and the change can lead to a more hopeful and clearer future.
I work from an Integrative perspective, which means that I combine several theoretical approaches. In the therapeutic relationship, I include from humanistic, psychodynamic, transactional analysis and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). Recognising that each client is unique, I tailor the therapy to meet their individual needs.
I have professional membership with the BACP and I am on their register. I abide by their Code of Ethics and Practice and receive regular supervision for my client work. This ensures I am always working for your benefit and with your safety in mind.
