About me
As a therapist, I love hearing people reflect and make changes to their life for the better. I particularly enjoy self-esteem work as it underpins so many problems. Supporting people to heal from difficult childhoods and traumas is beyond valuable. You will be listened to, believed and supported to build up your self-worth and live a life worth living.
I have an interest in creative writing and believe writing can be a great therapeutic tool. As well as telephone and video therapy, I offer typing therapy to those who are looking for a different therapeutic approach. Perhaps you can express yourself better through the written word, perhaps neurodivergence makes eye contact or the phone difficult. If so, typing therapy may be an option for you.
If you're ready to discover more about yourself and need a hand making some changes to your life, let's work together to make it happen.
I use a Cognitive Behavioural Approach (CBT) to therapy, meaning we'll work together to understand your difficulties and look at ways to move forward.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have worked in an NHS talking therapies service for 9 years. I first trained in low intensity CBT and later, high intensity. I am BABCP accredited.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
