About me

My name is Farrah and I am a qualified counsellor, I specialise in forced marriage, honour based abuse and domestic abuse. I am committed to providing a safe, confidential and a non-judgemental space, working within the BACP code of ethics offering counselling and therapy using the integrative therapeutic approach for all individuals; tailoring the therapy to my client’s needs, and not the client to one specific approach. I will help you understand your feelings, emotions and will empower you to make your own choices.

In the counselling sessions we will work at your pace through your issues in a safe and supportive environment. I provide long term and short term therapy; face to face, Skype and via telephone. In the sessions I will use a range of therapeutic techniques that will be tailored to your needs. As an integrative relational therapist, I believe that it is the relationship between the client and the therapist, which is the key to growth and healing.

I have found abuse is not determined by gender, age, faith or sexuality. I am passionate about my work and believe therapy does help with the issues and problems you are currently facing or have faced. The sessions will help you reconnect with yourself and move forward towards who you want to be.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
