About me

Are you struggling? Are you anxious, worried or lonely? Feeling overwhelmed or stuck? Do you need support and someone to talk to?   Life can at times be very challenging and hard to navigate.  I can offer you an understanding,  empathetic gentle and supportive approach within a safe, confidential, compassionate and non-judgemental space, where you can explore what you are feeling and really feel truly heard and seen. I can support you and work with you to gain a greater awareness and understanding and allow for positive change. I offer a warm, kind yet professional approach. I am an integrative counsellor and what that really means is; that I will work with you with different approaches that work best for you using different techniques and tools.

I have particular experience working with grief, bereavement and domestic abuse, although not limited to this.  I believe that offering a safe place of respect and compassion within a person-centred approach,  allows for the development of a good therapeutic relationship which is pivotal to the best outcomes and lasting change.

I can offer an initial free 30-minute consultation. I can offer online sessions via Zoom, telephone sessions, Whatsapp (anywhere in the UK) or face to face sessions in Exeter.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
