Evelyne Riddle MA, Registered MBACP (Snr.Accred)
Hello and a warm welcome. I am a BACP Senior Accredited and Registered Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist offering online therapy in English and French to individuals and couples. I use end-to-end encrypted audio and video platforms. The issues I work with include bereavement and loss, depression, relationships, low self-esteem, stress, anxiety, cross-cultural issues, identity crisis and lack of direction/meaning. As an integrative practitioner, I incorporate several modalities to my practice and view my role as your companion on your path towards attaining a sense of peace and wellbeing.
If you feel overwhelmed by circumstances that leave you with a sense of helplessness and isolation, I will strive to give you the opportunity to explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe and confidential setting. It is my hope that feeling understood will help you gain clarity regarding your situation and take steps towards resolving your problems as insurmountable as they might seem given the current global situation.
My core beliefs are grounded in humanistic therapy although my overall approach is integrative. I believe that our relationship is essential to our work, therefore I try to adapt to what works best for you. In over 12 years of practice, I found that, by giving me the privilege of sharing their life experiences with me, my clients continue to be my best teachers. I work short-term or long-term depending on your goals and needs and I am flexible with my schedule.

Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
