Eve Menezes Cunningham ~ self-care coaching, therapy and supervision
Hi, I’m Eve.
How would it feel to be free from anxiety and to know how to use it to improve your life when it cropped up?
To not only get through the traumas you’ve survived but to learn to harvest that pain and strength to flourish? To get from Post Traumatic Stress (PTS) and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) to (with time) Post Traumatic Growth?
To get a good night’s sleep most if not all nights, waking up refreshed, energised and excited about the day ahead?
To know how to handle stress? Living up to your potential but are free from the overwhelm and negative stress that comes from not setting boundaries?
To feel empowered and confident, able to stand up for yourself and others, and free to be happy as your human (both flawed and divine) self?
To be able to bounce back with resilience and grace when obstacles arise?
To find more purpose, meaning and joy, using what feels good as a navigation system to help you create and sustain a happier, fuller and more peaceful life?
Are you ready to prioritise your mental health and wellbeing?
I am a self-care coach, integrative therapist (BACP and IACP accredited psychosynthesis counsellor) and supervisor for your mind, body, heart and soul.
I support clients in helping themselves. Specialisms include trauma, anxiety, stress, sleep issues, building confidence and resilience and finding purpose, meaning and joy.
I mostly work online (secure video conferencing) and by telephone and have some availability for supervision, Single Session Therapy and brief therapy at the Tree Room in Colchester.
My holistic approach can help you create and sustain a happier, fuller and more peaceful life.
Also Chair for BACP Coaching and the author of 365 Ways to Feel Better: Self-care Ideas for Embodied Wellbeing (White Owl, 2017), you can access free bonus videos, meditations, articles and more to help yourself right now at selfcarecoaching.net
If you like what you see (re my approach, fees etc), you can book a free, no obligation telephone consultation with me so I can get a sense of how we might work together and the best way to support you moving forward if that’s appropriate and you can see how comfortable you feel talking to me.
I look forward to hearing from you and, if we work together, to supporting you in helping yourself.
Training, qualifications & experience
To help you as quickly, effectively and ethically as possible, I integrate other therapies I am qualified and experienced in as appropriate. These include yoga therapy, mindfulness, NLP (neuro linguistic programming) and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique).
It is always up to you - many of my clients like this integrative approach but if you only want counselling, that's absolutely fine.
A freelance psychology, health and wellbeing writer (evemenezescunningham.co.uk) since 2004, I contribute advice, columns and features for a wide range of national, specialist and international print and online titles.
My first book, 365 Ways to Feel Better: Self-care for Embodied Wellbeing (White Owl, 2017, £14.99) has a different self-care tool for each day of the year. You can access bonus videos and audios at www.selfcarecoaching.net/book
