About me

Thank you for visiting my profile. I believe that everyone deserves to live a life filled with joy, peace, and purpose. However, life can be challenging and sometimes we need a little help to navigate our way through difficult times. I am here to listen to your concerns and support you towards positive life changes.

At my therapy practice, I take an integrative approach to help my clients overcome their struggles. My tailored support addresses each individual's unique needs to help them heal and grow. For instance, I may use CBT to help you cope with anxiety in social settings, or a more psychodynamic approach to help you understand the root of your anxiety and how it has affected your life.

I understand that expressing yourself during therapy isn't always easy, especially when you're struggling with distress. That's why, alongside talking therapy, I use a range of creative techniques, like Art and Music to support your expression during therapy sessions.

These techniques will create a unique and meaningful environment that will allow you to feel safe and comfortable, so we can work together towards your healing journey.

I am a Registered Counsellor, which means that I have undertaken thorough training which meets the BACP quality standards; and it ensures that my practice is committed to adhere to the BACP Codes of Ethics and Professional Conduct Procedure. My work is fully insured and professionally supervised.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
