About me
I found entering therapy for the first time to be a daunting prospect so I understand what it can take to reach out in the first instance but know that I have sat where you might decide to sit going forward. Initially I offer a free 30 minute consultation either online or over the phone.
Those that I come to me for therapy describe me to be approachable, friendly, understanding and non judgemental. They feel seen and heard sometimes for the first time in their lives and this is not something I take lightly. I am passionate about what I do and will work at your pace with the hope that you feel held throughout your therapy journey.
It might be that you are experiencing depression, anxiety, struggling with your relationships or you are experiencing a loss of direction or identity; this might show up as fertility difficulties, substance misuse, bereavement and family breakdown.
Working together that best suits your needs is paramount in terms of building a therapeutic relationship that is right for you.
During the initial consultation I hope to find out what is going on for you right now and what it is you feel you might want help with. It will be an opportunity to establish whether I am the right therapist for you and for you to ask any questions you might have - in my world, there is no such thing as a stupid question. From there, we will meet in person within the Beverley Road area or online via Google Meet.
I use a variety of tools to support the therapy which could include looking into your past and exploring what makes you you via your experiences.

I work with those aged 16+ and use a variety of techniques that I will offer during the course of us building a therapeutic relationship. I do not have a set way of working and will cater your therapy to best meet your needs.
