About me

I specialize in working with clients experiencing low self-esteem, family of origin issues, childhood relational trauma, difficulties with assertiveness, and existential concerns. I also work frequently with individuals who identify with the gifted, expat, and LGBTQ+ communities.

Using an integrative approach tailored to the needs of each individual, I strive to help my clients understand and find practical ways to cope with their challenges. I primarily draw upon person-centred, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural, and solution-focused approaches to therapy in my work.

As your therapist, I aim to create a warm, respectful, nonjudgmental environment where you can feel safe to share your experiences. Depending on your preferences and reasons for seeking therapy, you can expect sessions to include discussion and exploration, experiential exercises, practical coping strategies, and tools to try at home.

I work with teens (ages 12+) and adults at my office on Bannister Close in central Oxford, and I am currently accepting new clients. Please email me if you have any questions about the services I offer or if you would like to request an initial appointment. I look forward to hearing from you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am an experienced psychotherapist who has been working with clients for over three years in private practice and university settings. I have completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at the University of Victoria in Canada, and a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology at McGill University in Canada. In addition to my private practice work, I am currently enrolled in the Postgraduate Certificate program in Psychodynamic Counselling at the University of Oxford as a part of my continuing professional development.
