About me

I use the Psychodynamic approach which is known as insight-orientated therapy. This focuses on the unconscious processes that are manifested in ones present behaviour. My goal is to provide a space where you can work towards an awareness and understanding of the influence of the past on present behaviour and emotions. How the past has impacted cycles of behaviour, learning about your childhood, often produces knowledge of how your cycle of behaviour, emotional instability was created. Awareness is key to producing the changes, structure, routine, diet….are all a part of your journey with myself, learning some breath work, learning valuable self care tools…….talking therapies are good for improving communication, do you understand the importance of verbal communication, acknowledging your feelings, we’re you asked as a child how you feel or were you expected to be seen and not heard……….do you value yourself, your opinions. Learning about the vibration you may be emitting from early childhood traumas, creating cycles in friendships, relationships, partnerships……….

I welcome you to my practice, getting to the root core of the trauma, understanding transitional family trauma, how it gets passed through…….learning to calm down that internal critical voice?

This type of therapy is life style changing, creating awareness, to facilitate change, you cannot create new results with the same mindset!

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
