Training, qualifications & experience
My working experience includes working in Sure Start Children’s centres across North Hampshire, working with the parents who use the centres. In addition, I have also worked in a Women’s shelter providing CBT for women who have suffered from Domestic Violence. Furthermore, I have worked overseas providing CBT in hospital settings.
My experience of working in various NHS Trusts in the UK and the above settings means I have a wealth of experience working with different client groups across various cultures. I am therefore able to provide treatment to suit your individual needs.
Presently, I work for the NHS as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, providing treatment for people struggling with Anxiety and Depressive Disorders.
My Private practice is based in Basingstoke and Newbury and runs on Fridays and Sundays. I am also an accredited therapist with the lead organisation for CBT in the UK, the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (www.babcp.com).
