About me

As an integrative counsellor, I use a variety of different ways to support you to talk about whatever it is that has brought you into the counselling room. I offer a safe space, where you’ll be treated with respect, empathy and above all as an equal where together we can nurture a safe therapeutic relationship. I offer a friendly, empathic counselling experience, where the relationship with you is at the centre of the work we do. My goal with you is to help you become your true authentic self, and to feel like you are coping better with life. When you reach out to me initially, I’ll speak to you briefly on the phone to gain a small insight into what is going on for you and what has made you contact me. There's no pressure to commit to further sessions, however, please know that by reaching out you will be treated with respect and can trust me to support you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I'm a fully qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, and member of NCPS, with over 6 years of counselling experience. I work with clients aged from 11 years old up to 104!!

In my professional life, before becoming a fully qualified counsellor, I have worked and supported children, young people, and adults from a wide variety of backgrounds with very different and at times, difficult life experiences. The variety of experiences I have gained over the last 30 years have helped me to value each individuals uniqueness and to really value what each person brings to the therapy room.

Wheelchair user access info
Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
