About me
I can offer you appointments to start as quickly as you're ready to - usually within a week or less, and give you a safe space to begin to change, accept or rediscover your life.
I work with people with generalised anxiety disorder and depression, relationship issues, panic, work-related issues, stress, anger, trauma, sexual abuse, personality disorders and many more areas you might be struggling with.
Clients tell me how frightening it is not to feel totally in control of their lives. I'm glad to work with people to be able to restore a sense of order, peace and move forward with understanding and clarity.
I've worked with many clients who have complex issues, including victims as well as perpetrators of trauma and abuse. Client feedback has shown that they feel I provide a safe and confidential space to talk, without fear of judgement or persecution.
Evidence tells us that the quality of the therapeutic relationship with your Counsellor is vital in healing, so we'll work together to create a safe and calm space where you can share your difficulties without shame or fear.
I usually have 1 or 2 appointments available immediately to begin to support new clients when they make contact or are seeking my help. I welcome people of all types and walks of life, aiming to create a safe and considerate space for each client.
Please get in touch by email or phone and we can begin work to find the relief you need.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
