Emma Hilton, MBACP
Life is ever more demanding and fast paced with the given that it will continue to deliver challenges and changes that we have to adapt to which can create emotional confusion and turmoil. At these times an objective empathetic ear and helping hand can be of help.
I offer a safe, supportive and confidential space where clients can truly express themselves without fear of being judged. By working with an integrative approach I work with each of my clients to safely explore the issues they may be struggling with and can pull from a range of psychotherapy models to suit both the presenting issue and individuality of the client. I work with my clients not only to address current difficulties and emotions they are experiencing but also past issues they may not have addressed and are still struggling with. I also aim to help my clients to gain a greater understanding of themselves so that they can develop a deeper awareness and strength moving forward in life.
In my years as a therapist I have worked with clients in many areas/matters including anxiety, depression, abuse, bereavement and loss, work issues, relationships, family matters, low self esteem and self confidence.
Prior to becoming a therapist I spent many years working in the Corporate sector.
