About me

  • I have a private practice in Maida Vale. I also see clients at home in Shepherds Bush, West London and online.

I see therapy as a way of getting behind the immediate and isolating problems we face, to the richer, more meaningful layers that lie naturally within us. With a better understanding and awareness of oneself, it is possible to find a more settled way of being.

I offer a safe and confidential space to discuss and be with whatever arises, allowing time for mindful reflection alongside the struggles and conflicts that life presents.

The therapy is shaped by the unique needs of the client and I work in a very relational way.

I work with a wide range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, bereavement, childhood trauma and relationship problems.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a fully qualified UKCP registered Adult Psychotherapist.

I completed a foundation and PgDip at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education in Maida Vale in 2015.

I am also a qualified supervisor and offer supervision sessions to training and qualified therapists.

I have been in private practice for 10 years.

Prior to this I have worked voluntarily at the NHS, The Caravan drop-in counselling service in Piccadilly and Help in Portabello, London.

Before becoming a psychotherapist, I worked in Journalism and Politics for 16 years.

UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
