About me

I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with over a decade of experience working with adults and adolescents experiencing psychological difficulties. I have specialist expertise and training in the treatment of eating disorders and psychological trauma (occurring in childhood or adulthood).

I offer a range of treatments that I adapt and tailor to suit your needs, whether you are looking for a brief consultation with recommendations or a more in-depth course of therapy. I offer both first-line, evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) as well as newer approaches known as "third wave CBT". This includes the models of mindfulness-based psychological therapies, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). I am also qualified in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) which research has shown is effective for the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), as well as anxiety, phobias, low mood and other psychological concerns that can be traced back to a trauma.
