About me

Often life can be hard, daunting and uncomfortable; things that have happened to you in the past may have caused pain and confusion; you may be anxious, be feeling sad or depressed. You may be hesitant and afraid to discuss those emotions or unable to give them a name.

I will work with you as you are in the moment, I have no expectations and there is no need to be worried or ashamed as to what I might think of you, counsellors like me work hard to be non-judgmental and to give you space to be and to feel.

I work with people with all kinds of backgrounds, however, my special interests are in; Sexual abuse, and in pregnancy related issues.

As a survivor of sexual abuse you may be tired of fighting the feelings of shame and feel ready to start living in the present. Or maybe you have had a traumatic pregnancy/birth, been diagnosed with pre-natal or post-natal depression, suffered a miscarriage or stillbirth, chosen a termination for whatever reason, or be child free by choice and feeling judged; If you need a confidential, safe, and non-judgemental space to talk then I am here.

I am warm, open and genuine, and I have the strength, courage and empathy to be with you, while we explore how your feelings and experiences have shaped your life, and whilst you decide where you want to go next. I am trained in Person-Centred counselling which means that you truly are the centre of all the work we undertake together, this is your time.
