Emily Hanna, Registered Counsellor, MA, BA, MBACP
Anyone can come to a point in their lives where they feel anxious, depressed, or just not sure how to move forward in a situation. Counselling can help you to cope with these types of issues, along with many others. Many people find it beneficial to talk about sensitive issues to someone who is not involved in their everyday lives. I can offer a professional perspective and allow you the freedom and space to talk freely about your concerns.
It is my belief that you are the expert on your own life, and counselling is a time and space dedicated to helping you find the best way forward, no matter what you are facing. As your counsellor, it will be my aim to help you meet your goals, and I will work alongside you to offer helpful feedback and support in a safe and confidential environment.
I have worked with a number of clients and helped them cope with their current problems, while making connections to the unresolved issues from their past that are contributing to their present struggles. It is my aim to help you find more effective coping strategies that will enable you to live the life you want and provide you with a greater capacity to make choices in your life.
