About me

Professional, approachable, evidence based treatment

I am a Clinical Psychologist and I provide 1:1 therapy to adults, children and young people from my practice based in Malvern, Worcestershire. I also work part time for the NHS in paediatric psychology services.

I am an integrative therapist which means I am trained in, and draw upon, a number of different models of therapy. These include:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Narrative therapy
  • Psychodynamic therapy
  • Systemic therapy
  • Acceptance and Commitment therapy

What are sessions like?

Having the space to be heard, tell your story and process what it means to you, may be all you require at this time. I also offer brief interventions of structured work to address specific issues. Open ended, long term work is also available to explore complex difficulties at a greater depth.

I believe that every person has unique life experiences and how these interact with present challenges and difficulties will therefore be different for each person. I aim to tailor the therapy I provide through dynamic collaboration with you and take time to fully understand the various systems and external factors that impact upon your well-being. We will work together to better understand and address the challenges you are facing.

An important part of therapy is the relationship between client and therapist and I ensure that adequate time is spent forming this. I will regularly check in with you about how we interact in the sessions in order to look after and develop the relationship. I encourage open and honest discussions on both sides throughout the therapeutic journey. I am passionate about empowering individuals to realise their full potential and achieve healthy mental well-being, free from psychological distress.
