About me
You will always get the same if you keep doing the same...
Therapy is an opportunity to get to know yourself, change and accept yourself, as well as an opportunity to improve relationships. The way we view ourselves, others and the world as a whole, can have a profound effect on our mental wellbeing.
I am a qualified and accredited Cognitive Behaviour Therapist (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapist, (attachment focused EMDR), treating PTSD and C-PTSD, Dynamic Interpersonal Therapist and currently training in Schema Therapy.
I work in private practice and in the NHS and provide therapy to adults 17+ years. I have been a therapist since 2009. Prior to this, I worked as a registered mental health nurse in adult psychiatry.
My areas of interest are childhood trauma, complex PTSD and PTSD but I also have experience treating OCD, Social Anxiety, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Health Anxiety, Specific phobias, Long-term Health Conditions, Depression, Stress management, and Low Self-esteem.

Further information
What is CBT?
Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is a talking therapy that can help you manage your problems by changing the way you think and behave. It's most commonly used to treat anxiety and depression, but can be useful for other mental and physical health problems.
What is EMDR?
Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) is a fairly new, nontraditional type of psychotherapy. It's growing in popularity, particularly for treating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and Complex PTSD (childhood trauma), Recurring Depression. PTSD often occurs after experiences such as military combat, physical assault, rape, or car accidents or attachment trauma.

What is Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy:
Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT) explores difficult past experiences, especially previous relationship difficulties, to understand how they may affect the way you feel and behave in the present.
