Elizabeth Pycroft MBACP (Accred)
Hi, I'm Liz, a Registered and Accredited BACP member currently in private practice.
I provide Skype and online therapy internationally, a service available to anyone who wishes to access support remotely, whatever the reason. Some people find it valuable to explore and communicate difficult and complex emotions by writing them down.
Online counselling can be an opportunity to reflect on and explore experiences, thoughts and feelings in your own time and space. It also means that you can access consistent support wherever you are, and this maybe helpful to people whose lives or jobs mean that they travel often. I am experienced in one on one therapy; Skype and online therapy; support and training for organisations experiencing stress and trauma.
I provide counselling for individuals and families who have experienced stress, anxiety or depression during transitions; or who want support to navigate through change and upheaval. I am familiar, too, with the effects of this stress on partners and families. I am highly empathic to people experiencing transitions or major life changes; or who have to make difficult choices or decisions for themselves or their families.
If you have any questions about how I work or how I can help, please do get in touch.

Living and working in developing counties for over 20 years, made me very aware of the effects of stress on front line humanitarian workers and people working in international and development organisations; I have undertaken research into the mental health effects of humanitarian work.
This experience means that I am experienced in providing therapeutic support to professionals who are experiencing stress or vicarious trauma; or who have experienced a traumatic incident during the course of their work.
