About me
I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist providing one-to-one psychological therapy to adults online and in person. In-person therapy is based in North West London (NW3) with close proximity to several transport links.
Training, qualifications & experience
As a Chartered Psychologist, I am a registered member of the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and the British Psychological Society (BPS). I have extensive experience of working in both physical and mental health within the NHS, higher education and wider healthcare sector. I work with people from different and diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of psychological issues, including:
- anxiety
- depression
- grief & loss
- earlier life & current trauma
- alcohol & substance misuse
- low self-esteem
- relational difficulties
- stress management
- performance pressure
- difficult life transitions
- living with & beyond illness
My specialist area is cancer and palliative care and I have worked in this field for several years within the NHS - helping individuals to cope with and to adjust to adverse, traumatic, life-threatening and life-affirming situations.
Prior to my career as a Psychologist, I worked in education and performance sport. Playing representative level sport and working as an LTA L4 Performance Tennis Coach, I have a deep understanding of performance in both training and match contexts, the relationship between body and mind and managing stress in high-pressure contexts.
I always endeavour to create a safe and non-judgemental space for individuals to work through personal issues, to heal, to increase self-awareness and to adopt helpful ways to navigate the complexity of life. As an integrative practitioner, I have trained in and draw on several models of therapy which are tailored to meet individual needs.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
