About me

I am a Person-Centred Counsellor accredited by the UKCP offering face to face and telephone counselling for individuals.

I have worked with a wide range of clients particularly;low self esteem, depression, anxiety and family issues. My aim is to offer an environment in which the client feels supported and able to build understanding of past experiences and improve emotional and mental well-being.

I particularly welcome women and men who have or are experiencing infertility, miscarriage and bereavement following the loss of a baby.

I work with clients to promote self care and work in a compassion focused way.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Person-Centred psychotherapy from The Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute (SPTI) accredited by Coventry University. I have worked in the voluntary sector for over ten years supporting survivors of sexual and domestic violence including trauma, depression and feelings of low self worth. My experience includes work with young people from 13 plus. I also have experience of supporting women with post natal depression and experience within an Peri-natal NHS setting.
