My approach to working with client is an integrative one. This means that I believe that every one is individual and different things work for different people. Therefore I adapt my approach to suit the individual I am working with. It is important that the work we do together is beneficial to you and therefore I will be led by what works for you.
Whilst I work in an integrative way the basis of that integration is relational. I strongly believe that it is our early relational bonds that influence the person we become. I also believe that in order to best help you our therapeutic relationship will be important. It can tell us a lot about how you relate in the wider world and can provide a safe and encouraging environment for you.
