Thank you for visiting my Profile..
Coping and recovering from painful life experiences sometimes feels impossible. Even if we have the support of friends and family it may not be enough to help us feel better, and this is where professional counselling can provide a positive way forward.
I work with people to reduce their emotional distress within a supportive and confidential therapeutic relationship.
I offer a range of safe, evidence based interventions tailored to meet the needs of each unique person.
These interventions include EMDR, the NICE approved treatment for trauma based symptoms and PTSD, along with creative methods and mindfulness techniques.
Therapy sessions take place at the same time each week for an agreed number of sessions.
At the first session you will be given an explanation of how therapy may beable to help. This will also be a time to share as much as you feel comfortable about your difficulties so that we can agree how best to meet your needs.
