About me

I have over 30 years of experience in working with issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, existential loneliness, identity issues, relationship and parenting issues, sexual issues, and many more.

I offer mainly skype therapy both nationally and internationally, although I see a small number of individuals and couples from my home in Walderslade, Kent. I was formerly Director of Relationship Services, based in Sittingbourne, Kent.

I am a former UKCP registered psychotherapist with dual recognition as a transactional analysis and transpersonal psychotherapist.  I am currently a BACP registered senior accredited counsellor and a recognised provider of CBT.

As a trainer and supervisor in Transactional Analysis I have written a booklet which can be uploaded for free from my website www.skypetherapist.co.uk

From 1984 I worked with young people and their families in residential and group settings. My initial training was in psychodynamic approaches. At the same time time I developed a private practice in Rochester, Kent which I then moved to Sittingbourne, calling it 'Relationship Services'. Member organisations

Registered / Accredited

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
